3M developed multilayer PET film

3M has developed a multi-layer PET film that can be used as a paint on window glass to prevent the penetration of infrared rays and other harmful light. Used in home and office windows to prevent indoor temperature rise and reduce the demand for air-conditioning. This film reduces infrared radiation by 90% and also reduces ultraviolet radiation and visible light.
