B&H Labeling Systems Introduces New MarathonTM XL Labeler

B&H Labeling Systems has introduced the new MarathonTM XL labeler, which is the fastest of the Marathon series of rotary labellers. One of its features is the use of the industry's first all-electronic drive wheel set, the SMARTdriveTM, in addition to a servo motor-driven feed and container stabilization unit. The labeler can handle containers ranging from 8 ounces to 3 liters, with a maximum speed of 650 containers/minute. Compared with the complex high-speed rotary labeler, Marathon XL labeler's advanced coaxial design greatly simplifies the operation and maintenance, and only need to replace a few parts and automatic devices, and can complete the replacement.

SMARTdriveTM is an advanced digital multi-axis servo motor control system. Five independent servo motors communicate via a high-speed data bus, which enables precise simultaneous control of various operations such as feeding, cutting, gluing, and transporting containers. Thanks to the elimination of gears, conveyor belts, chains etc. in traditional labelling machines, SMARTdriveTM has greatly improved the accuracy of labelling.
