Cipa launches 2 new plastic container production systems

Italian Sipa recently launched two new plastic container production systems, namely SFL linear blowing equipment and SFR rotary blowing equipment. They represent the two extremes of Sipa's broad range of solutions: "small-scale" production and "large-scale" production. The commonality of these two devices is a high degree of flexibility and user satisfaction.

The new SFL linear blowing device is an innovative, high-speed device controlled by an electromechanical system. Each of its cavities can produce 1,800 bottles in one hour. The most significant features of this blowing equipment are extremely compact structure, easy to use and maintenance, low energy consumption, short configuration conversion time, and high flexibility. It also features easy handling and modularity.

The "large-scale" capacity rotary spinning equipment SFR 9/27 has a three-cavity or single-chamber configuration. This is unique in the market. Three-cavity molds for specific size bottles, or single-cavity molds for full-size bottles, can be installed in nine blowing stations to adjust production to meet filling and packaging line requirements. The maximum speed of the equipment can reach 40,500 bottles/hour (0.6 liters) and 15,800 bottles/hour (3 liters).
