Defense Beverage Packaging

Defense's fresh-keeping packaging is the traditional 14.5 ounce aluminum can, which contains a two-part polypropylene device, the Fresh Can Wedge, containing 10 mL of solid ingredients. Wedge is cylindrical and has a total capacity of 25 mL. Wedge is activated by pressure changes. The pressure inside the can opens abruptly. Because of its special design and structure, Wedge can not adapt to this sudden pressure drop, so its lid will pop up quickly. Wedge's ingredients are automatically released into the drink and dissolved in it so the drink can be consumed. The new FreshCan Wedge patented technology was jointly developed by European Ball Packaging (BPE) and Degussa FreshTech Beverage.
