The State has listed degradable plastics as a national priority in the development of high-tech industrialization (agricultural materials, medical materials); China's Agenda 21 has also included the development of biodegradable plastic packaging as one of the development contents; degradable plastics are being introduced to the market. To open up the market, it has great market potential in fields such as agriculture, packaging, daily use, and medical use. However, the low level of domestic degradable plastic duplication, blind construction, so that already very different supply and demand relations have been further intensified. Degradable plastics are in the process of marketization. Due to the lack of effective technical supervision systems and simple and easy identification methods, the market is chaotic. There is still a large gap between the controllability, rapidity, and completeness of degradation and the advanced level in foreign countries, and it needs further improvement and improvement. At present, the annual output of plastic products in China is about 15 million tons. Among them, disposable plastic products increase at an average annual rate of 20%. About 3 million tons of wastes are produced each year, of which serious pollution is difficult to collect or recover without recycling. Waste with poor value or economy accounts for the vast majority. If it is 60%, it is also close to 2 million tons.
