Generally, the gray ladder has two grades of 15 and 21, and the difference is 0.15. That is, for each additional level, the density increases by 0.15. Indicates that the corresponding exposure will increase by 10%. If we can't find the gray scale of the negative pattern, we can also temporarily use the gray scale used in paper printing (which can be found at any printing plant or non-forest output company). However, it should be noted that in this case, the dots in the ladder should be reversed (because the gray scale used for paper printing is positive and the opposite is printed on the disc). That is to say, after marking the 95% dot portion, it is necessary to observe whether the remaining 5% of the dots can still be seen. If it can be seen, it means that 5% of the dots are not lost. Also mark 10% of the outlets. If you can see the remaining 90% of the outlets, if you can see them, we can say that 90% of the outlets are not pasted. It should also be noted that the number of lines of offset printing is exactly the same as that of the optical offset printing, so this method can only be used as a reference.
Of course, if conditions permit, you can go to the film output company to make a 175-line negative-type gray adjustment ladder (UGRA test strip, Japan FUJI test strip generally costs several thousand yuan, and make a negative-type continuous gray adjustment ladder It only costs one to twenty yuan). In this way, the negative-graded continuous graying step can be used as the original (film) in the printing, and it is tightly attached to the PS plate. Determine a fixed light intensity (illuminance), adjust the length of the printing time, and test the sun. After developing the PS plate, the dot shift was observed with a large mirror of 15 times or more. If 2%-3% of the outlets are not lost, more than 95% of the outlets are not. Prove that exposure is basically appropriate. The exposure time and light intensity at this time can be recorded, and in the future production, the plate can be printed according to this parameter.
The light source of the printer will decay after prolonged use. This requires us to constantly detect and adjust the exposure of the printer to allow the dots to be transferred within a controllable range.
