Synchronous ink jet printing is that the ink pump ejects ink from the nozzle with a certain pressure to form a continuous ink flow.

When the piezoelectric crystal is excited by a high frequency voltage, the ink flow is changed into a regular small ink droplet flow arranged according to the definition, and the pressure of the ink pump and the amplitude of the excitation voltage are adjusted, and as many micro ink droplets as possible can be generated. When passing through the high-voltage deflection zone, the micro-droplet is charged, and smaller droplets larger than it are not charged. When the charge signal is removed, the charged micro ink droplets deflect under the direct electric field between the deflection electrodes to form a desired ink beam, which is then directed onto the paper, thereby completing the ink jet printing process. The small ink droplets that are not charged do not deflect and are recovered and reused by the ink system. As shown in Figure 6-11.

Asynchronous inkjet printing consists of the nozzles of the nozzle. Only when a certain jet needs to be ejected, the microdroplets are driven out by the piezoelectric element. Black-and-white inkjet printing uses only a single ink, so the machine structure is simple and the ink system is simple.

Color ink-jet printing uses the three primary colors of ink and color material - yellow, magenta, and cyan. Therefore, synchronous type requires at least four nozzles and more asynchronous spray.

Synchronous color ink jet printers can receive color image terminals, color televisions, and color light sources sent by color scanners. They can be saved for later use, or they can be input to color converters and converted to color materials. The signals of the three primary colors of black dots are then controlled by a gray controller to be neutral gray, and then sent to the electrodes of the corresponding color nozzles by the four color signals of the gray controller to control the nozzles to shoot ink. The ink jet print resolution can reach 40 dots/mm, so the quality can be similar to that of taking pictures.

Inkjet printing paper requires paper with a smooth surface and a certain degree of sizing. The ink sprayed is evaporated and dried. The dots of ink are circular, and the printed letters are clear and the graphics are beautiful. Color inkjet printing paper, the best surface is a very thin layer of transparent coating, which can quickly absorb ink, but also to avoid the scattering of light, so that to the ideal print.

The ink for ink jet printing is a special ink with a moderate viscosity, and it is non-toxic, stable, does not block the nozzle, has good moisture retention, good jetting properties, and does not corrode the metal components of the head.

Black-jet printing has the characteristics of no contact, no pressure and no printing plate. The information stored in the electronic computer can be input into the ink-jet printing machine for printing.
