Japanese ultra-thin tin plate beer cans popular

The tin-plated thin-plate beer cans produced by the Japan Steel Corporation have recently been used to package low-malt beer. Currently, 72 million bottles have been sold.

The wall thickness of the new beer can is only 0.19mm, and its weight is 30g lighter than that of ordinary steel beverage cans. The open end of the tank is still made of aluminum, and aluminum is added as a deoxidizer in the steelmaking process. The aluminum on the tank can be used as a deoxidizer. The tank can be recycled like an aluminum can and its production costs are cheaper than aluminum cans.

In the Japanese beer can market, aluminum cans have an absolute advantage, accounting for 99.3% of the total, while steel cans only account for about 0.7%.
