New antibacterial packaging material manufacturing technology

Japan added a new type of inorganic antibacterial agent to packaging materials and successfully developed a series of antibacterial packaging materials. It has antibacterial effects on a variety of pathogens.

According to reports, this new packaging material has three major characteristics: First, the long-term antibacterial effect. Second, because the antibacterial agent is gas phase, it does not have any adverse effects on the contents of the package. The third is good stability. During the packaging process, thermal stability is high, the concentration is stable, and there is no adverse effect on the operating environment. Antibacterial packaging materials mainly include sheets, absorbent sheets, packaging films, and antibacterial packaging papers. The sheet is made by pressing an antibacterial agent into a resin such as ugly olefin. The water-absorbent sheet is not made of a superabsorbent resin as a base material, and usually has a sheet-type and a coating type such as a non-woven fabric, a paper/a water-absorbent resin/paper/non-woven fabric mixed with an antibacterial agent.

Currently widely used is the antibacterial packaging film, made by adding antibacterial agents to polyolefin thin sculptures, for most common micro-organisms such as coliform bacteria. Golden grape balls, Phytophthora boehmeria, Aspergillus niger and other antibacterial effects.
