The 2016 Expo will continue to hold its position in Fuzhou and be held on April 22-25, 2016 at the Strait International Convention and Exhibition Center. Why did the Botswana have a soft spot for Fuzhou? Peng Xiao gave the answer.
The first factor considered in the selection of the Expo site is the willingness of exhibitors and trade visitors. Every year at the exhibition, we conduct research on exhibitors and trade visitors. Based on their opinions, we will determine the venue for the next exhibition. The second factor is Fujian Province itself. As a coastal province in the east, Fujian Province boasts a developed economy and a relatively high economic level. As a result, it has become a habit of physical fitness and sports consumption. The audience for the first day of the Expo reached 40,000. It can be seen that the citizens of Fuzhou love the Expo. On the other hand, Fujian Province is of great significance to the Chinese sporting goods industry. A total of 118 Fujian companies participated in the exhibition. From this figure, we can see the degree of development of the sporting goods industry in Fujian.
Peng Xiao explained that another important reason is the strong support of the Fujian Provincial Government and Fuzhou Municipal Government. As I said earlier, the successful organization of any major exhibition can not be separated from the support of the government. All along, public opinion has complained about the government’s excessive participation in collective activities. However, in my opinion, the strength of the government is the biggest advantage when a large-scale event is held. In order to meet the requirements of the fair for the pavilion area, Fuzhou Municipal Government invested 700 million yuan to expand the Fuzhou Strait International Convention and Exhibition Center from 80,000 square meters to 120,000 square meters. As a matter of fact, it was only in the first ten days before the new venue was built. Without the strong cooperation of the Fujian Provincial Government and the Fuzhou Municipal Government, this exhibition will not be so successful.
Despite this, this exhibition is still somewhat imperfect. On the first day, exhibitors and spectators entered the queue to become long queues, the communication signal in the stadium was not good, and the exhibitors’ exhibits were sometimes lost. The regrets were big and small, but in the eyes of Peng Xiao, it was the driving force for future development.
There will certainly be regrets, but I do not regard it as a regret, but as the driving force for the outlook for the next year. This year's regrets and lacks, my team and I will try our best to improve it at next year's body expo. Peng Xiao laughed.
