Piab launches new suction cup for sucking uneven plastic packaging

Piab, a Swedish manufacturer of vacuum products and systems, has recently introduced a sucker model BL-3P that can be used to lift plastic bag overpack products on mesh surfaces, such as food and pharmaceutical plastic packaging products. Piab claims that the suction cup has an uneven surface that can increase work efficiency when the packaged product is sucked.

At present, manufacturers usually use vacuum conveyor systems because they can transport packaging materials without dust. The suction cup uses a closed system and uses a vacuum pump to suck material so that unnecessary dust particles can be removed.

According to the company, using suction cups to pick up bags is a challenging task, often resulting in mistakes and shutdowns. This new plastic bag aspiration tool guarantees a reliable workflow and reduces downtime due to falling or damaged bags.

In addition, this suction cup developed by Piab can greatly improve work efficiency when used with the P6010 vacuum pump. The P6010 is 40% higher in air smoothness than other vacuum pumps. This vacuum pump uses air-saving navigation control to automatically maintain the stability of the suction point pressure. According to reports, this suction cup can also be applied to many workplaces and is suitable for different packaging bags, reducing the time required for changing tools according to different applications. In addition, this suction cup has different strength and can strongly absorb uneven or dusty bags.

BL-3P suction cups come in three sizes, 1.1, 1.5, and 1.9 inches, respectively.
