In order to work again, after a period of time, this kind of phenomenon occurs more and more frequently. In the early stage of the fault, we will adjust the spring of the front end of the clutch tightly and the state of self-disengagement will be slightly better. Re-adjusting the spring will not help. If the spring's elasticity is too large, it will cause the driven clutch and the active clutch to be disengaged and the machine cannot work normally.

The machine paper feeder adopts indirect toggle type mechanical clutch structure. The basic principle is to use an electromagnet to toggle the follower from the connecting rod to make it close to the active clutch and pass the driven and active clutch end face. The combination of the paddle claws on the upper side of the paddle transfers the torque on the active clutch to the driven clutch, which drives the entire conveyor system to work.

We first checked the electrical control circuit of the electrical components and the clutch. The result was normal and we checked the clutch again. We found that the joint faces of the protrusive claws of the active clutch and the driven clutch had been formed from the original right-angled shape. The wear has become a large rounded corner, making the two orthogonal working planes in normal operation contact, resulting in contact with the two rounded arc surfaces, resulting in the closing of the driven clutch and the active clutch, and the transmission of the torque force acting on the worn circular arc boss joint surface. Due to the arc-shaped action, the driven clutch will produce an axial slip phenomenon, causing the driven clutch to be disengaged after the active clutch is just closed to the active clutch, because the electrical control is still in the clutch. The upper state causes the clutch to produce a continuous and repeated closing and disengaging, and then disengages and closes the phenomenon, thereby generating a squeaky noise similar to that of a machine gun. Therefore, the driving torque of the active clutch cannot be transmitted to the slave continuously. On the clutch, the paper feeding system cannot work normally.

After finding out the cause of the failure, we used the electric welding method to weld the bumps that had been worn into a circular arc. The clutch was made of cast iron materials, and the weldability of cast iron was poor. After the welding, the repair surface was not easy to produce. The hardened layer of cut white iron has caused great difficulties in the finishing process after welding, and the mechanical strength of the repaired surface is poor, the toughness is low, and the brittleness is large. The service life after the repair is short, in order to improve the mechanical properties of the repaired surface. , To extend the service life, we took the insert repair method and repaired this part. The specific approach is as follows:

Remove all the clutches, and separate the active and driven clutches into the arcuate claws of the bosses, and simply use a fitter method or a milling machine to excavate the area so that the claws of the original clutch end face boss form a long type. Grooves, and then re-made 45# steel clutch boss jaws, after quenching, closely embedded in the processed groove, and then using two 6 mm Hexagon socket screws to fasten the position, active clutch The torque transmission working face of the driven clutch is changed from the original cast iron material to 45# steel material. This not only facilitates the cutting process when repairing, but also improves the mechanical properties such as the toughness and hardness of the clutch face, and enhances the performance. The impact strength of the two parts when working, improve the service life, and in the future if the phenomenon of wear occurs again, do not disassemble the clutch and other related parts when repairing, as long as the wear of the boss on the claws of the two 6 mm Unscrew the Hexagon Socket Screw to remove the wearing parts easily, and then put the newly processed steel bosses into the square jaws.
