In the printing process, the phenomenon of imprinting deformation is common and common. Based on past practical experience, the various factors that cause imprinting deformation in the printing process are summarized below for your peers ’reference.
1. Plate factors
At present, the PS plates used in the printing industry are mostly based on aluminum plates, and a certain amount of zinc is added. In addition to a certain tensile resistance, it also has a certain ductility. Under certain conditions, the tensile strength of the new PS version is stronger than its ductility, and the ductility of the printing plate made with the new PS version is not obvious. If the printing plate made of recycled PS plate, especially in the case of a large number of prints, this change can be clearly felt. As the number of prints increases, the entire printing plate extends from the middle along the two directions of fixed plate orientation, and the more the number of prints on the plate changes, the more obvious it becomes. Do not add liner paper on the back of the printing plate to maintain printing. If necessary, the printing plate must be scrapped to ensure quality.
The main reason for this quality problem: after the electrolysis of the PS version, although no qualitative changes have occurred, the surface mesh on the surface is obviously coarser than that of the new PS version, and the thickness and weight are also much reduced. The thickness of the new PS version is 0.3mm, and the thickness of the PS version after electrolysis is sometimes less than 0.15mm. Its tensile strength is naturally not as strong as that of the new PS version, but its ductility is stronger than that of the new PS version. When installing the plate, the operator will directly pull the edge of the plate because of too much force when tightening. The weight of the new PS version is 0.5kg per sheet, and most of the regenerated PS versions cannot reach this weight, and some are even lower than 0.25kg. The resulting printing plate has poor tensile resistance, and sometimes the entire printing plate can be elongated. More than 5mm, its ductility is naturally stronger than the PS version. Since most of the offset printing machines are operated at high speed during operation, the printing plate will be deformed, and the marks on the printing plate will be deformed accordingly.
2. Blanket factor
The influence of the blanket on the deformation of printed handwriting, I believe that there are mainly the following factors.
Reason 1: Buying a blanket of unqualified quality cannot reach the normal service life and loses the performance it should have, resulting in deformation of the print during the printing process.
Solution: immediately replace the blanket of qualified quality.
Cause 2: The blanket is not installed properly, and it is loosened halfway.
Solution: Reinstall the blanket.
Reason 3: Due to the operator's own failure to clean the impurities (such as ink, etc.) on the surface of the blanket in a timely manner, the surface area of the blanket has a thick layer of impurities. The surface is hardened and cannot be cleaned. It is absorbed during the printing process The moisture on the surface of the printing plate swells, and the writing on the surface deforms accordingly.
Solution: Clean up in time, and replace the rubber cloth in time if it cannot be cleaned up.
