What kind of sound do you like to use in peacetime? Record player? sound? CD player or iPod? Soon you may face a new option, which is your own 3D printed music player. Recently, a 3D printing enthusiast who called "Creater Andrei" and his friends have created the world's first 3D printing CD player, and the playback quality of this machine is quite high.

"I have been making speakers for 12 years now, so I have always been obsessed with sound, music, and making/modifying music equipment - I am a super-audio enthusiast." Andrei, "One of my friends made these great Audio kits - amplifiers, faders, CD players, etc., are very, very high-end accessories, although they cost about £300 to £500 per part, but they are definitely more than 1,500-2,000 pounds."

Since Andrei got a MakerGear M2 3D printer not long ago, he dreamed of printing a pair of available speakers for his equipment. Now with these complete accessories, this idea can no longer be stopped.

"The key to the problem is that with 3D printing, you can do some very fancy things with vibration damping, combine different materials, use some containers to create composite structures, and get very interesting damping and feedback," Andrei said.

This gave him inspiration to try to create a 3D printed CD player, which sound quality may far exceed the traditional music player on the market.

So dry, using SolidWorks software, Andrei designed all the mechanical parts, outer casing, internal structure, optical component brackets and other "small" gadgets. Then print it out with his MakerGear M2 3D printer. According to Tiangong, his MakerGear M2 is equipped with an E3D V6 + Volcano hot end with a nozzle diameter of 0.8 mm.

“I also have a normal nozzle – 0.4 mm, but it takes about 11 hours to print the base and sidewall with this nozzle,” says Andrei. "If you follow the normal settings, the total printing time is more than 32 hours. So I used E3D, this is a really amazing nozzle, it makes my printing speed much faster, now all the parts are printed out only need 6 hour."

As you can see in the photo, this CD player is very different from the traditional CD player you see in the store. But, at the same time, as a super enthusiast, Andrei tells us that its performance is "absolutely amazing."

He has already compared this with 3D printed CD players and well-known brands on the market such as Yajun, Audiolab, Burmest, Sugen and Cyrus. "It's higher than these guys," Andrei said. "Overall, this is an amazing player with great performance."

But Andrei and his team are still unfinished. He said that the 3D printed CD player currently on display is only the result of their first iteration. He has just completed the next version, which will use some special wires, such as wood or carbon fiber, printed in 3D.

when compressed air enter into the vacuum pump, simultaneously under the push of air cylinder, the empty door of hopper will be closed and the vacuum will be formed in the hopper. The vacuum feeding machine forms air stream under vacuum state. Under the action of this air steam the material which is conveyed will be transported to vacuum hopper through hose. Certain time later (feeding time, adjustable), the compressed air is closed, the pneumatic vacuum pump is unable to produce vacuum, simultaneously under the push of air cylinder the emptying door of hopper will be opened and the vacuum will be disappeared in the vacuum feeder. The material will be fed into receiving equipment from the emptying door (for example tablet press, packing machine and so on), simultaneously, compressed air that stores up in air packet's blowback the filter, and the filter cleans by itself. Certain time late (discharging time, adjustable), the compressed air starts again. Move in cycles, the material is fed into the equipment continuously.
