U.S. launches new continuous packaging machine to integrate vacuum packaging capabilities

Ilapak of Pennsylvania, United States, introduced a new continuous packer Delta VacMap. According to reports, packaging products using this packaging machine can guarantee the same long shelf life compared to thermoplastic packaging, but at a lower cost.

The Delta VacMap is a horizontal packaging machine with a "triple play" feature that combines vacuum packaging and modified atmosphere packaging for forming, filling, and sealing operations. Ilapak stressed that the integrated function of this packaging machine can greatly reduce production costs.

The built-in vacuum system used by Delta VacMap was also developed by Ilapak. During the packaging process, the vacuum system can suck out the oxygen in the product to ensure the product's permanent freshness, especially for those soft and porous baked goods.
