U.S. Research Uses Polyester to Build Roofs

Stephen Kiran and James Timberlake, architects of Philadelphia, United States, are working to combine various polymer materials, hoping to find effective materials that can be made as "smart carpets" for house roofs.

According to reports, “Smart Blanket” is an outer packaging material that can be stretched and stretched on an aluminum frame. Like the nylon cloth for tents, it consists of two layers of polyester film (PET). The specific method is to use a thin flexible film material as the substrate, and then spray some tiny particles with lighting, heating, energy storage, and even display information. The electronic wall produced by this method is not only inexpensive, but also can change its function as desired, for example, a wall of a bedroom can be set as a movie wall, or an entire wall of a living room can be turned into a window.
