Wegenstein Wines installs new filling equipment

A brand new filling plant was installed at the Wegenstein winery in Neudorf, Austria. The device uses state-of-the-art flushing and filling technology to fill single-use wine bottles at a rate of 12,000 bottles per hour, as well as in cartons, plastic boxes or heat-shrinkable packages. And this is only part of the Krones order. The winery of the REWE Austria Food Group also needs a set of dry processing equipment. When operating new equipment, it also takes into account the existing production process of a recyclable glass bottle processing line and a carton packaging filling line.

The Krones Group has successfully completed this complex task using robots and mobile trolley technology. It transports products requiring palletizing from three sets of equipment directly to palletizing positions, passes palletizing, and then sends them to high-bay storage. At the same time, empty boards and consumables can be sent to the respective machines of the equipment. Secondly, there is a large-capacity new bottle buffer device, which can temporarily store 30 bottles of a new bottle of a full-car container.
