The copier uses paper for copying, and the characteristics of the paper directly affect the quality of the copy. Paper can generally be divided into two types: acid and neutral. In order to ensure long-term stable use and maintain good copy quality, it is more appropriate to use neutral paper for copying.

When the aluminum sulfate in the acid paper comes into contact with the moisture in the air, acidity changes, and the parts inside the copier are acidified and corroded. In addition, the acid paper itself is easily acidified and causes discoloration and drying, so the paper is not suitable for copying and printing. In addition, paper powder is a major feature of acid paper. More paper powder will cause poor paper feeding, incorrect operation of the operating parts, shortened service life of parts and increased failure rate of each part. The increase in the failure rate will inevitably lead to an increase in the number of repairs, which will increase the cost of parts and repair costs.

Pay attention to the following points during the use of copy paper:

1. If the copy paper you are using is damp or curled, paper jam may occur. In this case, try turning over the copy paper in the tray. If the effect is not good, please use a flatter copy paper.

2. Do not use copy paper such as the following types, otherwise it may cause malfunction.

* Thermal fax paper

*Art Paper

* tin foil

*carbon

* Conductive paper

3. Do not use the following types of paper, as it may cause paper jams.

*Curved, folded or crumpled paper

*Teared paper

* Paper with a smooth surface

*punched paper

*Rough paper

*Soft thin paper

* Paper with many confetti on the surface

4. If you copy on rough paper, the copied image may be blurred.

5. When storing copy paper, please observe the following precautions:

* Do not store copy paper in direct sunlight.

*Please avoid storing copy paper in a damp place (humidity: less than 70%).

* Please store on a flat surface.

6. Unpacked copy paper should be stored in its packaging and stored with unopened copy paper.

7. In the case of high temperature, high humidity or low temperature and low humidity, please store the copy paper in a plastic bag.
