Japan Tobacco obtains patents for suppressing soot disperses cigarette paper

Recently, Japan Tobacco Corporation obtained a US invention patent grant - cigarette paper that inhibits the dispersion of soot (US6830053). The cigarette paper is processed from a pulp containing at least 60% of a fiber component, and flax pulp is particularly suitable. The weight of cigarette paper is between 20-70g/m2. The cigarette paper can obviously inhibit the dispersion of soot without increasing the total amount of the combustion additives.
