3. Direct operation control of delivery function

Turn on the blower unit and suction function when the offset press is not in production:

• Suction: Press the paper suction button (Figure 7-52/1).
• Suction roller: Press the suction fan blow button (Figure 7-52/2).

16 Decrease the speed of the skimmer and reduce the stack height

1. Pickup speed reduction

The CP2000 console controls the unloader switch. The paper on the skimmer is easy to slip off, so it is recommended that as little paper as possible is placed on the skimmer.

a. Press the Paper Feed button (Fig. 7-53/1) on the menu bar to open the paper feed menu, and then press the delivery pile button (Fig. 7-53/2) to open the delivery pile button (Fig. 7- 53).

b. Use the +/- buttons (Fig. 7-53/3) to set the number of offset presses between the insertion picker and the picker.

The skimmer can only be inserted into the stack when the stack of paper passes through the eye. The number of rotations of the drum can be set by the console during the start of this non-stop operation until the insertion of the skimmer.

The shortest stagnation time was 1 turn, and the longest stagnation time was 9 turns. The standard setting is 1 turn. If it is too long, the paper can easily slip off the front edge of the stopper (the main stack will continue to fall).

2. Preset to reduce the stack height

The default is to lower the height of the stack for the first time, mainly to insert the paper tray. This value can be set between 10mm and 300mm. If the input value of this value is less than 10mm, the delivery sensor will set its own height (Figure 7-54/1). The height reduction label is displayed on the stack symbol (Figure 7-53/5). The main stack will automatically decrease to the height of the eye.

a. Press the Feed button (Fig. 7-53/1) on the menu bar to open the Feed menu and press the Take-Up Pile button (Fig. 7-53/2) to open the Take-Up Stack menu.

b. Use the +/- keys (Fig. 7-53/6) to set the height reduction value.

Tip: The height of the eye is adjustable.

The second lower height after the paper tray is fully inserted. This height can be set by CP2000 console, the value range is 0 ~ 300mm.
