Jujube is native to China and has high medicinal value. Jujube is a special economic forest tree species that has been vigorously developed in Xinjiang in the past ten years. It is also the seventh largest fruit tree and the first largest dried fruit tree species in China. Xinjiang winter jujube has been welcomed and loved by the people of the country for its high quality and delicious taste. However, most of the high-quality red dates produced in Xinjiang today are mainly exported to dry products, and their fresh food sales are limited to a certain extent due to their inability to store and transport, and short shelf life.

There is little report on the impact of packaging materials on the quality of winter jujube storage. Today, we aim to study the effects of different packaging materials on the quality of winter jujube storage at the winter jujube in the Aksu region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.


1. The influence of packaging materials on the weight loss rate of winter jujube stored at low temperature. The use of packaging materials significantly reduces the weight loss rate of winter jujube. During the storage period of winter jujube, the change trend of weight loss rate is the same. After using the packaging materials, the weight loss rate of winter jujube is lower than that of bare jujube, which reduces the transpiration of water and significantly reduces the weight loss rate of the fruit.


2. The influence of packaging materials on the hardness of winter jujube stored at low temperature. In Xinjiang, the hardness of Xinjiang winter jujube gradually decreased gradually. Among the various packaging materials, it can be found that the winter jujube packaged in the special fresh-keeping bag has the smallest hardness reduction, followed by the fresh-keeping bag packaging. The hardness of winter jujube stored after packaging with two kinds of packaging materials is higher than usual.


3. The influence of packaging materials on the corruption index of winter jujube during low temperature storage. With the extension of the storage time of winter jujube, the degree of decay of all treated winter jujubes is aggravated. There was no corruption after storage in the bare winter jujube field, and its decay index was lower than that of the packaged packaging materials during the storage period, but the fruit lost the fresh food quality. The packaging material can better preserve the appearance quality of winter jujube, but the skin spoilage index is increased, and the corruption time is earlier. The special packaging material for winter jujube improves the good fruit rate of winter jujube storage.
